Dr. Phillip is originally from northern Arizona and is one of the rare Arizona natives that still reside in this state. She decided at a young age that her calling was to become a Veterinarian.

She attended Northern Arizona University for her undergraduate studies. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 2001. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Phillip joined our staff at Arizona Avenue Animal Clinic in June of 2001. Dr. Phillip has developed special interests in the fields of internal medicine, surgery, and ultrasonography. She is a member of the American and Arizona Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Phillip has a passion for enhancing medicine, helping others, and building client relationships, which has led her to become our Medical Director in 2017.

Dr. Phillip resides in Gilbert with her husband, Dennis (who is also a Veterinarian), and their daughters Sara and Taylor. Their family also includes two dogs Winky and Homer. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, and traveling.
