Dr. Michelle Mendolia
My name is Dr. Michelle Mendolia. I was born and raised in the valley. I graduated from Mountain View High School in 1990 and went on to earn my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson. I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida (Go Gators!) in 2004. I then completed an externship at the Phoenix Zoo as well as a small internship and radiology fellowship at VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center in Mesa. I worked as an associate veterinarian at VCA McCormick Ranch Animal Hospital in Scottsdale from 2005 to 2017. I then worked at Noe’s Ark Animal Hospital in Mesa from 2017 until February 2025. In 2018 I studied acupuncture at Chi University in Florida and in 2023 I went back for training in canine rehabilitation.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice but am especially interested in preventative care, geriatrics, acupuncture, and rehabilitation medicine.
Outside of work, I am an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy traveling, fishing, hiking, and cross-country skiing. I currently live in Mesa with my husband Richard and my two furkids: Bogey, a Mini Australian Shepherd, and Pepper, a Schnauzer/Shih Tzu rescue mix.
